1. Who we are

Keiron Green (trading as gaspr) ("we", "us") operates the gaspr app and website. We are the data controller for personal data collected through the Service. Contact us at support@gaspr.app.

2. What we collect & why

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account data (email, name, login credentials) — to create and operate your account.
• User content (price reports, favorite stations, deals you submit) — to provide the core Service and surface community pricing.
• Usage & device data (app interactions, device type, approximate location, IP address) — to operate the map, prevent fraud and spam, and improve the product.
• Support messages — to answer your questions.
• Marketing preferences (only if you opt in) — to send occasional product updates.

3. Legal bases

We process personal data on the basis of: performance of a contract (operating your account and subscription), legitimate interests (improving the Service, fraud prevention, security), consent (marketing communications, optional cookies), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, responding to lawful requests).

4. Who we share data with

• Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, authentication, analytics, and error monitoring providers that help us run the Service.
• Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payments, subscription management, tax compliance, invoicing, and refunds for all paid plans. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
• Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and audit partners under confidentiality.
• Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. You can request deletion at any time and we'll delete or anonymise your data, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@gaspr.app.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure — to protect your personal data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

8. Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies and local storage entries to keep you signed in and remember preferences (e.g. theme). We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the Service is used. You can clear cookies and local storage from your browser settings at any time.
